HOSPRO is a group of scientists and small landowners committed to providing Hawaii and its farmers a path to greater self-sufficiency by developing a palm oil industry. We are just getting off the ground and are in search of funding. Below is a list of ways you can help us develop agricultural practices for the good of the ‘aina and for Hawaii’s people.

• Would you like to grow hybrid oil palms? If so, how many trees would you want? A small farmer wishing to intercrop can have as many as 80 trees per acre with trees planted 25 feet apart.

• If you can offer special skills, please list them below.

(such as machine operator, engineer, chemist, construction, fundraiser, etc.)

• If you can offer equipment or use of equipment, what kind and at what rate?
